Positive Affirmations for You to Use the Week of March 20 -26th

Hello friends, internet acquaintances, and people I have yet to meet!

I hope this past week was good, and if it wasn’t, I hope that you’re proud of yourself for making it through! Hell yeah!

I’m really excited because last first was my first “good” week. I’ve made some decisions that make me more excited for and able to handle the idea of a future. Existing simply feels a little less overwhelming than it has lately.

Aaaand then yesterday (Sunday), I was depressed again. Because that’s gonna happen every once in a while when you struggle with *depression*.

But, I am proud of myself for not dwelling in it. I allowed myself to feel what I needed to feel, and to et myself rest and take it easy. And I think I’m able to feel better and do more because of that.

So this is your friendly reminder that a full range of emotions is healthy and normal, that rest is necessary and productive, and that bad days don’t undo the hard work you’ve done.

Also that I’m proud of you.

And sure, maybe that sounds weird. But I know how hard simply being a human can be, and you’re doing it! So I hope that the fact that someone is proud of and believes in you brings you some comfort when things get rough.

If you’re new around here, every week I share the affirmations I’ll be using that week. My goal is to share them every Sunday, but sometimes it’s on Monday, or Tuesday, or I’ll skip a week. While I love sharing them with you, my first priority is my mental health, and I post accordingly. If this is relatable to you, you should probably stick around.

I always share the affirmations in the order that I personally will be using them (1 is Sunday, 2 is Monday, 3 is Tuesday, etc.) but I urge you to use them in whatever works best for you. And if some affirmations don’t work for you, that’s fine! Your affirmation practice should first and foremost work best for you. Take what you need and leave the rest.

Sending good vibes and love for this week! The weather is starting to warm up in Northern Virginia, and it is absolutely thrilling. I hope it’s warming up for you, too!

But no matter what the weather looks like where you are, please remember that you are loved, wanted, and enough.
